Rosewood veneer work box, dating from around 1860, with mother of pearl on lid and at keyhole. There is a visible dent in the lid - a result of a past life. Lift out tray with open compartment. Interior lined in cutch fern leaf pattern and turquoise/gold marbled hand-made papers. Working lock with key. A neat, subtle box. JB0101
