Small Mahogany Jewellery Box, 19th century, possibly an instrument box originally. There is a brass Seahorse plaque on the lid and a brass escutcheon. Inside, the lid is lined with a richly-coloured Japanese paper Blue, Orange and White Blossoms on Ivory. There are 12 black velvet ring rolls in total, so 5 slots on both sides of a shot-silk pad - lime-green silk shot with orange.
